Fun Things to Do in Fairfax County & Northern Virginia | FXVA

There is so much to do in our area and they can be enjoyed in the winter months, provided you dress appropriately. Some of our favorites:

-Walking around Burke Lake (4.5 miles)

-Vising Great Falls - amazing views of fiercely flowing water and some trails as well.

-The National Mall with all of the monuments and museums. There is a fairly new WWI memorial.

-Arlington Cemetary is a very moving experience as is the Holocaust Museum.

-Iwa Jima Memorial

-Mount Vernon, George Washington's Home in Alexandria, VA
